Christmas concert Cantar - Ode to James Ensor

Heavenly sounds. As a biennial custom, the St Joseph's Choir will perform a Christmas concert in St Joseph's Church with the full choir (42 choir members) on 10 December 2023. This concert will be performed together with a full orchestra ( cfr Arco baleno) and soloist (Sarah Peire) as a one-off. In homage to James Ensor, several pieces from the Ensor cantatas by Paul Schollaert (former director of the Lemmens Institute) will be performed, as well as a creation about Ensor composed by Bald Wyntin.
